I work intuitively with brushes and pens. I combine my motif-making technique and the use of line, shapes and forms with stippling to create highly detailed and intricate compositions that are monochromatic; the result of a radical technique - that I developed over many years - with black and white as the main driving colours and the illusion of all the greyscale in between.
