MEM MEM is a UK based singer, songwriter, producer and multidisciplinary artist. Their meticulous detailed approach to the recording process often starts with a motif from which sonic environments are created enabling ideas to be tested in the studio. With a background in music, performance and visual art, MEM MEM sensitively utilises these skillsets during the songwriting process, this presents wide-ranging opportunities for the music to exist beyond the original recordings- often presented as installations, site-specific spaces, galleries and music venues alike. Ever-evoliving MEM MEM explores the interconnection between music, art, technology and environment and how this can further deepen the listening experience. Taking inspiration from the analogue age his core sound is electronic with multi-layered vocals set against a backdrop of textural manipulated found sounds and traditional instruments.
