This is our online original music showcase for our old D & R Studio . D & R Studio once was the musical home for a number of talented artists in southeastern Ohio. The lineup of artists included...Dr. J.W. Smith (who now tours with "There Blind Boys Of Alabama"), Our studio musicians ( Phil Ley, Norm Shaner, Ron Mash, and Dave Norris) who became known as "The D & R Studio Band" , a group that went on to play many live shows around southeastern Ohio and beyond! And they were just the core musicians that worked the studio, there were many more that lent their talents to many recording sessions over the run of the studio. Gospel vocalist Amy Doner, with whom we produced 2 CD's. Kay Carter, another well known area musician. We recorded her "Colors Of My Life" CD here, and she also performed on many recording sessions here as well. The studio was operated by Ron Mash and Dave Norris. Also the radio program "Hometown Showcase" was produced here for several different radio stations.
