Blood of the Phoenix (BOTP) is a 4 piece metalcore band that brings a fresh take to a decades' old genre. Formed during the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic, BOTP seized the opportunity of the lockdown working towards their debut release - From What We Used To Know. The band leverages each members' skills and influences to create a unique sound. Influences from members have a wide range, from Demi Lovato to Whitechapel, to Animals as Leaders to Bone Thugs N Harmony. BOTP's music has been positively reviewed by the likes of Paolo Gregoletto (Trivium), Vicky Psarakis (The Agonist), and Jesse Leach (Killswitch Engage). The project has endured the loss a crucial founding member (Bradley Hart) in 2021 and have strived to continue their musical journey. BOTP is currently recording their sophomore release with local legend, Matt Roach (Daniel Wesley). Having regained solid footing and momentum after receiving a personal on-stage shoutout from Killswitch Engage on the Lamb of God '22 Omens Tour.
