NEW VIDEOS EVERY 1st and 15th DJ Sanj began his music career in Toronto, Canada, producing hit Desi mixtapes in the late ’90s. Over time, he rose from a local DJ to an international superstar, securing production deals with Bollywood giant Eros Entertainment, Universal India, and the UK’s leading Brit-Asian label, Moviebox. In the early 2000s, he moved to the UK to produce full-time for Envy Entertainment, a major label specializing in Desi and Asian music. His America’s Most Wanted series and international hits like Das Ja, The Next Episode, and Tenu Bulondi cemented his status in the British Asian music scene. By 2005, he expanded into R&B and hip-hop with J-NAS/Asian RnB, a critically acclaimed album featuring DJ Clue, rapper David Banner, Rob Base, and UK stars DJ Luck and MC Neat. With over 150 songs and 15 albums to his credit, DJ Sanj set his sights on Bollywood. After relocating to Mumbai in 2006, he worked on numerous Bollywood hits, including Love Aaj Kal, one of the decade’s highest-grossing films. He collaborated with industry legends such as Pritam, Anu Malik, Amitabh Bachchan, Gurdas Maan, Sonu Nigam, and Oscar-winner Sukhwinder Singh. From 2010 to 2014, he made a powerful return to the UK Desi music scene, releasing the hit American Desi series, featuring tracks like Teray Hussan De Maare, Narkaray Mari, and Katal Karay. Now, fans eagerly await his long-anticipated comeback in 2025 with American Desi 3 and his new podcast, "YES! I Have an Opinion."
