The Liberator is a channel focused on learning lessons from history. While a lot of channels tell you what happened, I want to emphasise why we should care. The Liberator marries history and philosophy - it is, to coin a phrase, contemplative history. We will therefore search the past for the perennial. I am always seeking to find wisdom and emotional connection from history, to help us reflect on our own society. I hope focusing on that which connects us can liberate our minds from petty cruelties and passions, and encourage a kinder attitude towards not only each other, but the 97.5% of conscious life which is nonhuman.
