All playing rules and regulations are in accordance with those set forth by FIFA and the AFC. APL consists of eight teams representing the various geographic regions of Afghanistan. APL organizes provincial and regional selection tournaments throughout Afghanistan every year to ensure young men across the country have an opportunity to follow their football dreams, and also stages annually the country’s first women’s football tournament. All APL matches are broadcast LIVE on TOLO TV and LemarTV, Arman FM and Arakozia FM radio stations, as well as on the APL social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Ins)
