Tayar |تيار is an Arabic indie-rock band consisting of a singer/songwriter, Ahmad Farah, and music producer and filmmaker, Bader Helalat. Together, they collaborate to tell stories through audio and visual means. Tayar has quickly become recognized for its synthesizers and vocals. By invoking visual and lyrical conversation, the duo allows the audience and listeners to interpret their sound individually. With abstract lyrics, and a distinct sound, Tayar goes against the mainstream line of sound and develops its own category that continuously changes with every release. Their sound is influenced by indie pop and neo-psychedelia, and they have emerged from the indie-rock scene in the city of Amman.
