LaShawn D. Gary (Pianist, Composer, Producer, Arranger), is a native of Detroit and received a Bachelor’s of Science Degree from Southern University in Instrumental Music and a Master's Degree in Music Education from the University of Louisville. LaShawn is a music educator and has taught instrumental music in public schools for 15 years. He is multi-talented and has composed, produced, performed and arranged music for producers and artist such as: Michael Powell, Yolanda Adams, Howard Hewitt, and L.J. Reynolds. You have seen and heard his musical talents on television in the production of the Toyota Avalon “Son-in-law” commercial, the advertisement of the introduction of the Ford Fiesta, and Happy’s Pizza Jingle featuring the Four Tops. LaShawn was the Choir Director for the McDonald’s 365 Black Awards and recently worked as the assistant choir director for the Charles H. Wright Museum 50th Anniversary “Oh' Freedom” Celebration with Patti Austin, Sanchez Harley and Greg Phillinganes.
