I started in the trucking industry at the ripe age of 16. In 1967 while still in High School I started loading freight for Carolina Freight which was the biggest employer in our small town. A few years later I was hired on as a regular yard switcher. I have been an RPS/ FedEx Linehaul Contractor since 1987. My wife joined the business full-time in 2006 after retiring as an 8th-grade math teacher. We became one of the largest Linehaul contractors in the Carolinas and Georgia at one time.
