The Hindu symbol Om is considered to be a sign of the Trimurti, with the vowels A, U and M of the word representing creation, preservation and destruction. त्रिदेव, या त्रिमूर्ति, तीन सर्वोच्च हिंदू देवताओं की त्रिमूर्ति है जो सृजन, संरक्षण और विनाश के ब्रह्मांडीय कार्यों का प्रतिनिधित्व करते हैं : ब्रह्मा : निर्माता विष्णु : परिरक्षक शिव : नाश करनेवाला त्रिदेव सृष्टि, जीवन और मृत्यु का आधार हैं जिन्होंने पूरे ब्रह्मांड के कामकाज का प्रबंधन करते हैं। हिंदू धर्म के प्रतीक ओम को त्रिमूर्ति का संकेत माना जाता है, जिसमें शब्द के अ, उ और म स्वर सृजन, संरक्षण और विनाश का प्रतिनिधित्व करते हैं।
