Born and raised in Montgomery, AL, Amon grew up intrigued by music from artists who were also from the area. Some of Amon’s musical influences from the area include Nat King Cole, Lionel Richie, Eddie Floyd, and Clarence Carter whom his grandfather worked with on numerous occasions. Amon has studied music throughout his entire life. He received his undergraduate degree from Berklee College of Music and graduate degree from Alabama State University. Amon has had numerous experiences that have molded him into an exceptional musician.
