The SpaceBased channel is the result of my lifelong passion for space exploration, rockets and general excitement about our future, where space travel will be much more accessible than it’s now. My name’s Radim and I fell in love with spaceflight at a very early age when I found out, that people actually went to the moon. That very moon you can see in the sky sometimes. I was fascinated by the pictures taken during Apollo missions and a little bit later when I was 9, I've seen the TV miniseries From The Earth to the Moon and that pretty much turned me into a little space nerd. Watching it on repeat every day after school & reading space-related books and encyclopedias became my obsession. The original joy was sparked again by the release of the alpha version of the Kerbal Space Program and when I subsequently became much more curious about a very interesting company called SpaceX. That was almost 10 years ago and boy, have they gone a long way since then.
