مغني ,ملحن و ممثل سوري مصري . ترك نجاح بشكل استثنائي استمر علي مدى اربعة عقود. لقب ب ملك العود و علي مدار حياته شارك فى 31 فيلم و غني 500 اغنية و من اشهر اغنيه هما "اول همسه" , "الحياه حلوه"و" قلبي و مفتاحه" و ايضا لحن للعديد من الاغاني لكبار الفنانين مثل "شادية" و "وردة" مات فريد فى 1974 عن عمر يناهز 64 عام فى بيروت Syrian – Egyptian composer, singer, and actor. Farid left on an exceptionally successful career spreading over four decades. He was known as King of the Oud. Over his lifetime, he co-starred in 31 movies and recorded around 500 songs. His famous songs are Awel Hamsa, El Haya Helwa, and Alby w Mofatho, He also composed songs for top Arab singers like Shadia, Warda. He died at the age of 64 in 1974 in Beirut.
