After 10 years of operatic, jazz and and theatrical vocal training, Mathew V moved from Vancouver, Canada to London, England at the age of 17, where he found his signature yet classic vocal style. After returning home to Canada, Mathew penned a deal with 604 Records and his first albums “The Fifth” & “Two Faced” included top 40 radio hits, international charting success and critical acclaim from the likes of Billboard, Nylon & American Songwriter. Cut to the present day, with a catalogue over 100 million streams, a Juno nomination and fresh off a standing ovation at Massey Hall, Mathew found himself empowered to make a bold return to the jazz music he was raised on.
