Piddle In The Marsh, N Gauge Model Railway. Christmas Day 2017 and there is nothing on television and I reached for a book.Somehow the idea of building a model railway entered my head and so it began. I had a train set on a board as a kid but things have moved on so I had to learn about DCC and the different scales. Deciding on N because it offered more for less I went to the Peco website and download the points plans and set about planning. I soon hit a problem though, code 55 or 80, what did this mean? Insulfrog or Electrofrog, what is this?Anyway I sorted it deciding insulfrog was safer to start with. And so the adventure began. Piddle In The Marsh is totally fictional and if I am honest more happened than was planned with the regards to the village. If you watch you will see houses and church keep moving around! Having no sooner finished it it had to get bigger and the first extension happened. Will it ever end? I'm told a layout is never finished! [email protected]
