Training given by AROHI faculty makes them confident to achieve high positions. The academy was started by Smt. Guri Khamba Sangeet Praveen in the year 2003 who herself is from a family of artists. Her mother Smt. Charanjeet Kaur was a famous singer of Lahore, her maternal uncle Dr Harjeet Singh former Producer Doordarshan Kendera. He is presently producer Director and famous art director of Hindi film Industry. Smt. Guri Khamba herself is an eminent vocalist of A Grade from ALL INDIA RADIO & DOORDARSHAN. A disciple of Shri Vinay Chandra Maudgalaya founder of GANDHERVA MAHAVIDYALAYA Delhi. She learnt classical music (Hindustani) in Vishnu Digamber Padhati & light music from many distinguished Gurus in which Pt. Jwala Prasad, Shri Harbhajan Singh & Shri. Kesar Singh Narula She has also learnt Kathak Dance from renowned guru, Guru Dhanraj Pawar of Jaipur Gharana. She is Music expert with C.C.R.T (Centre for Cultural resources & Training) an organization under ministry of Culture Govt. of India. She has rendered her melodious voice in many audio-cassettes, Albums, jingles released from T.Series & other companies. Many stage programmes are in her credit in India and Abroad. She is recipient of Kala Sadhna Puruskar for her work in the field of Music & State award for being a Best Music exponent in Delhi. She wants music to be a part of life as music is said to be a form of YOG i.e. Naad Yog with which you can unite with the ALMIGHTY.
