Hello everybody. My name is Chris and i fell in love with sports cards in 1985 when i bought my 1st pack of 1985 Topps baseball from the local grocery store. In 1987 a local card shop opened and became my after school hangout. I used to do odd chores around the store for packs. Great memories, even though we probably broke some child labor laws. 😂. So i grew up collecting cards and basically spending every penny i made on sports cards in the junk wax era. I loved ripping packs and looking for my favorite player (Big Mac Mark Mcgwire) or my local teams(Sf Giants/Oakland A’s). And of course all star players, top rookie cards, and hall of famers. This was all i did besides playing baseball in my youth. Then came high school and i lost my passion for cards. After a few more off and on collecting episodes i have returned.
