The Panhandle Archeological Society is a local group based in Amarillo, Texas. We are open to the public and meet once a month to discuss archaeological topics! We now hold hybrid meetings where people can attend in person at one of the local libraries or via Zoom. The Panhandle Archaeological Society (PAS), is a non-profit, 501 (c)(3), scientific, educational research organization whose members, in compliance with federal and state antiquities laws, are dedicated to preserving and protecting the cultural and natural resources of the Texas panhandle and adjacent areas, and to promoting education and community involvement in the history, prehistory, and natural environment of the panhandle and adjacent areas.
