My name is Ryan Brown and I'm a Professor of Human Development and Family Sciences at Texas Tech University where I lead the Stress, Aging, and Relationships (STAR) Lab. Previously, I earned my Ph.D. in Psychological Sciences from Rice University with a focus on Health Psychology & Behavioral Medicine + Industrial-Organizational Psychology before doing a 2-year Postdoctoral Fellowship focused on daily stress and aging biology at University of California, San Francisco. Through this channel, I (and other members of the STAR Lab) create engaging digital media to share more about the fields of social-health psychology and psychoneuroimmunology.
