I wish to thank my viewers for their interest in my channel, and hope to produce more content as this season winds down, but look to cover community events in the High Desert of the Inland Empire. This expansion is the next step in my “grow or die” progression. I am experimenting with live broadcast, shorts and a second channel while searching for an assistant with an interest in learning videotaping and their own social media presence. I am investigating a “Patron” account to cover expansion cost. I plan is to ask followers for an annual contribution of $1.00 and casual viewers, those who don’t follow me, for a $1.00 contribution per view. YouTube rewards content providers with a share of advertisement dollars based on the number of followers they have, and I would prefer to have YouTube dollars support my expenses rather than my audience. They currently monetize my channel and will continue without sharing advertising dollars until I meet that follower threshold.
