This channel is for students, teachers, and avid readers. Annotating should be a conversation between you and the book. When reading for school, you also want to annotate for confusion (what don’t you get?), quizzes (what little details will you be tested on?) and papers (what quotes can you use for evidence in papers?) This channel will help you recognize clues to deeper meanings and analyze rhetorical choices. I will also explain confusing parts of the book and provide historical background when appropriate. For teachers, these videos can enrich your lessons by giving you ideas for assignments, quizzes, and in-class discussions. The written descriptions are not a complete list of all important elements in the chapter. They are simply plot points.
