This is a place mostly for my flight videos. I'm a pilot with an instrument and multi-engine rating who just loves flying with the clouds. I previously owned a Diamond DA40 and now have a DA42. I really enjoy mounting cameras to film my flights, then editing them into time lapse videos. When it comes to the videos, I really don't know what I'm doing, but I have a lot of fun when I'm on the ground fooling around with the footage and trying to make it into something watchable. It might be harder to learn video editing than learning to fly! ;) All exterior mounted shots are done with a GoPro Hero3 Black. I also use a Contour Nflight Cam quite a bit for interior shots, as well as an iPhone on occasion. Still experimenting with ATC recordings, would like to use them in some videos, but they don't work well with the time-lapse. Most video is sped up in the range of 20x speed with Final Cut Pro X.
