Hello Guys! Introducing Mikel Basurto’s YouTube channel! Mikel was diagnosed with Autism at age 3 & remained practically non-verbal until age 5. After 3+ years of behavioral therapy (age 7), Mikel was enrolled to a stem-cell trial at Duke University. In December 2017 Ms. Silvana Armentano "discovered" Mikel's remarkable musical talent & has been his music teacher ever since. Music has significantly improved Mikel's pronunciation, memory & mental agility, to name a few benefits. Lovingly known as "El Maestro" for his exceptional musical talent, Mikel is an incredibly creative, talented, goofy, handsome & spiritual little guy. Besides playing music, Mikel likes to use electronic devices for anything productive, sometimes play with water balloons, go to the beach and theme parks, play with his brother Evan (also diagnosed with ASD) & pray.
