There are skills demonstrated and tips to help with anticipation, lane discipline, spiral roundabouts, parking manoeuvres, use of mirrors, independent driving - following signs and sat nav, road markings, driving test myths, instructions given by driving examiners and much more to help you through it, but more importantly to be a safe and competent driver after passing. When qualifying to become an instructor I watched 100+ hours of videos of what to expect and get a head start on training and exams, so I think this sort of learning has great benefits, but it is NOT a substitute for real practice. Please don't use the test centre car park to practice parking at any time and don't practice on real routes during working hours.
