Stefan Benecke is a musician and producer active since the late 1990s. Born and raised in southern Berlin, music has shaped his life from a very early age. His influences are broad and span multiple genres, including the soulful guitar storytelling of Mark Knopfler, the atmospheric and emotional depth of David Gilmour, the road weary blues of Chris Rea, and the innovative electronic soundscapes of Aphex Twin. In 1999 he moved to Switzerland, where he has lived ever since on the shores of Lake Zürich. Stefan’s music centers on blues rock and emotionally driven compositions, characterized by warm tones, expressive melodies, and atmospheric storytelling. Tracks such as Goodbye Chris, Me and the Blues, When You’re Gone, In Transit to Vegas, Lady Red Maple, and I’ll Meet You at Dawn create vivid sonic landscapes, from late night highways and vast open spaces to quiet, reflective moments.
