Been detecting 37 years and love every minute i can get out . where ever possible i will review simple to use machines that can get the job done for sensible money . i,m very lucky to be a house husband with time to detect in the week ,and boy do i love getting out and comparing my machines ,and try to push them another inch. my favourite budget machines in no particular order are . Golden mask 1+,Goldfinder gf2(chinese t2),fs2(chinese goldbug),minelab musketeer(discontinued,very deep),Gc-1023(£70 machine that beats most machines in iron),tesoro compadre (similar but 3x price). i will do hunt videos to give some idea of performance to be expected . all the machines mentioned above i class as better than a garrett ace 250 ,even the gc-1023. so if your a newbie reading this do some research before buying the no1 seller ,that is slow ,useless on wet sand ,and loves iron. there are some cracking machines under £250 that run rings round the no1 seller .
