Ian Steppler, is a third generation family farm. Ian and his family crop 4000 acres of land and manage a 1500 hive apiary. These vlogs have evolved from my written journal that I use to write many years ago. The written journal evolved to an online blog and then to a YouTube vlog where I document events along with thoughts on a daily basis. Making these videos is my hobby and it is a lot of fun, but I also use these videos as a source of reflection. In a way, I speak to myself as a beekeeper 15-20 years ago as if I could only communicate now to my former self. The interesting part about this YouTube vlog is the feedback I get from beekeepers from around the world who in a way, are beekeepers that are 15-20 years ahead of me whom provide me insight into what I’m doing now! This has been an extremely interesting project and it has been fun part of my life. Thank you for watching.
