Kim Jong-un (Korean: [6] 김정은), also known by other names such as Kim Jong-eun and Kim Jong-yeon[7], formerly known as Kim Jong-won or Kim Jong-won,[8] (born January 8, 1983)[9] Marshall Korean, who is the third and youngest son of former North Korean leader Kim Jong Il with his wife Ko Yong Hee.[10] After the death of his father Kim Jong Il was announced on December 19, 2011, the news of the North Korean presidency bequeathing to Kim Jong Un was announced as the "Great Heirloom" as it came on North Korean state television.
