From Chute Boxe's premier strikers, Rafael earned his Black Belt in Muay Thai, within the first 4 years of training. Cordeiro eventually became Brazil's Muay Thai champion, as well as an International Vale Tudo Championship (a Brazilian MMA tournament) winner as A lightweight. He began his career as a trainer in Chute Boxe training his teammates like Wanderlei Silva, Mauricio Shogun, Anderson Silva, and Cris Cyborg. Moving to the USA in 2008 he began founding Kings, now 12 years later Master Cordeiro has trained 13 world champions and currently trains fighters from UFC, Bellator, Glory Kickboxing, and many other local and international shows. Cordeiro is one of the best instructors in the world and is known for his passion for the sport. Recently in 2020, he has begun a new journey of training Heavy Weight Champion Mike Tyson.
