Ilan Eshkeri is an Emmy, BAFTA, and Ivor Novello-nominated composer celebrated for his emotionally rich, genre-defying music. Dyslexic and synaesthetic, he experiences music as colour, Eshkeri brings a unique perspective and profound empathy to his work. He rose to prominence with Matthew Vaughn’s Layer Cake (2004), blending orchestral and modern sounds, and has since scored films including Stardust (2007), The Young Victoria (2009), Still Alice(2014), Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story (2024), MobLand (2025), and House of Guinness (2025). His work spans screen, stage and live performance, from the ballet Narcissus and Echo with Sergei Polunin to Burberry’s Reliquary, and the Symphonic Through My Window performed at the Louvre. He has also scored acclaimed video games, including The Sims 4 and Ghost of Tsushima, and collaborated with Ralph Fiennes, Sir David Attenborough, Coldplay, KT Tunstall, Take That, Annie Lennox, and David Gilmour. In 2024, he scored Audible’s adaptation of 1984with Muse’s Matt Bellamy. His sold-out show Space Station Earth, a synth-pop, orchestral, and visual journey into space inspired by astronaut Tim Peake and developed with ESA and NASA,will tour again in 2026. Working mostly from his London studio, Eshkeri continues to create music that moves, inspires, and leaves a lasting mark on audiences worldwide.
