Sam Popkin is a guitarist, audio-engineer and multi-instrumentalist based in New York. He specializes in learning songs by ear, breaking them down note-for-note, while using vintage accurate gear. After growing up near Philadelphia, he attended Bennington College in Vermont, studying music production. There, he released his solo album Three Miles Gone and met his future wife Lily. They formed a duo: Uncle Kingsley and released two albums together. Sam works in the audiobook industry, and has recorded many actors and celebrities. In his spare time he collects guitars, amps and pedals. Inspired by That Pedal Show's YouTube channel, he set out to create his own channel demoing guitar gear. This led to his guitar covers of 1960's artists, specifically The Beatles. He co-hosts the podcast Gear There and Everywhere, with three fellow Youtubers, and has been performing with Long Island-based artist Andrew Weiss & Friends
