I am a Jamaican pilot in training in the USA and I have always had a passion for aviation. My journey started 5 years ago when I moved to Michigan from Jamaica, I did not know what I was going to do, but I knew that being a pilot was never within the scope of my grasp, so I never thought I would ever get the opportunity to become a pilot. I spent 3 years working odd jobs while washing dishes, baggage handling for a particular airline, as well as Uber, until fate decided it was time for me to hone my potential. I then decided that it was time for us to move on, so with this opportunity I applied for a transfer with my job and moved to Atlanta. Even though, I moved to Atlanta, I never thought that being a pilot would happen, until I overheard a conversation from a co-worker. So I have decided to share my journey as a student pilot and my day to day activities that has prepared me on my journey towards being an Airline Transport Pilot.
