Catwork was founded in 2011 by Baran Akıl and Burak Keskin in Izmir, Turkey. By combining contemporary radio music of that era with progressive house techniques, the duo quickly carved out a unique sound for themselves, gaining recognition on Turkey's club scene. Catwork rapidly became one of the most recognized and performing DJ teams in the country. Producing all their work in their own studio, Catwork garnered significant attention through collaborations with local artists on cover tracks and feat projects. Team member Burak Keskin achieved a notable milestone in 2020 by reaching number one on the Beatport Progressive House chart.
