Tonk is our modern take on traditional Asian shadow puppetry. We hope to achieve this by reinterpreting Asian mythology and visual design in a silhouette style. This reduction to just the characters’ outlines gives us exciting storytelling options. In a similar fashion to a book or audio book, it provides the viewer with more scope to use his or her imagination.
