Lauren Thompson Hall is a choreographer, filmmaker and dance educator based out of Los Angeles. She received an MFA in Dance from UC Irvine, and a BFA in Dance from Marymount Manhattan College. Lauren has taught courses at Southern Methodist University, Cal State Long Beach, Cal State San Marcos, Chapman University, Long Beach City College, and Santa Monica College. She has guest lectured and set choreography on dance students at Western Michigan University, University of Central Oklahoma, W & L University, Lamar University, Stephens College and the Beijing Dance Academy. Lauren’s dance films have been shown at Dance Camera West, the Newport Beach Film Festival, Dance Camera Istanbul, and the Beijing International Dance Film Festival. She choreographed the music video “Millions” for Warner Bros. recording artist, Gerard Way. She also was the choreographer for ABC’s Emmy-Award winning show Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution, where she created a cooking and dancing flashmob.
